there are a lot of songs of Jack's that i resonate with for some very odd reason. i don't know why. i feel like i don't understand a lot of myself and listening to his style of music helps to sort of understand what i can't by hearing it, in a way? it probably doesn't make sense to anyone other than me. i think of times when i was young, when it rained and the sky was gray, i think of my old furniture and my old toys and everything from back then. but i also think of myself in general, even how i live today. how i seem to find myself wanting to go back despite realizing that even then it wasn't good, i was just an ignorant kid who found joy in the smallest things. in short? it's comforting and bittersweet and i yearn for something that i dont understand in myself.

that sounds soooo corny i feel like but that's just genuinely how i feel. and that's literally only with HiLo and Pop Food lol... maybe some of his micropop, too. not a lot of it. i do appreciate his micropop, one of my favorite's of his micropop is keyman! i think it's awesome. i just loveeeeee his music, i'd love to meet him one day and tell him how much his music means to me. if i had to describe it in easy words it'd be basically my feelings if you could hear them.
